A Poem For All Seven Books…
A First year train ride was where they met,
With frogs and beans and Scabbers the rat,
To Hogwarts then and the Sorting Hat.
The great Hall feast a sight for the eyes,
Ron digging in was no surprise.
A troll comes next and Fluffy the Dog,
Norbert the dragon and hagrid’s beard,
The Philosopher’s stone and Harry’s hand,
Leaving Quirrel’s face a little bit seared.
Second year brings the Chamber,
And the Basilisk’s deadly stare,
Fawkes and his healing tears,
The bloody words “beware the heir”
Tom riddle’s diary
with the hole punched through,
Dobby the elf and the Polyjuice brew.
Harry and his boneless arm,
The dweeb professor,
And his useless charms.
Third year a prisoner escapes,
A man hunt then ensues,
The marauders map, a long lost name,
The rat is Peter Pettigrew.
The moon comes out, and Lupin howls,
Snape appears and Sirius too,
But its Hermione and Harry,
That the werewolf prowls.
Fourth year it’s the Goblet of Fire,
With dragons, mermaids and the living maze.
The graveyard, and Moody with his farseeing gaze,
It’s now Harry faces his greatest attack,
For yes its true, The dark Lord is back!
Fifth year and the Order,
A lady in Pink takes over the school,
brings rules and tools which are described as cruel.
The prophecy, the ministry and the Weasley twins,
Disrupting Umbridge as the school wills with grins.
The sixth year at Hogwarts leaves harry in a fix,
A book is marked with spells and tips,
As the half blood prince owned it last,
leading to the secrets of the Dark Lords past.
Hunting a horcrux with Dumbledore,
The corpses come to life and the necklace is a fake,
R.A.B the only lead they could make.
Dumbledore is murdered, and Snape flees the scene,
Tears streak the face of the grief stricken teen.
Seventh and final year, the three skip out on school,
To Malfoy manor, and the seaside cabin,
Where dobby dies, Harry cries and the break in at gringotts vault,
Destroys another Horcrux and reveals Voldemort’s fault.
In killing harry, his fate is sealed,
He turned to dust as his final hand is dealed.
